About Me

I like to embrace big ideas and actions that reflect my sense of hope and wonder. I crave variety and love to ask questions. To maintain motivation, I need to feel like I'm pushing boundaries and exploring new ideas. Perhaps that's why I've always been drawn to the fields of public service, education, non-profit, counseling, hospitality, and the service industry. For the better part of two decades, I gave my life to those fields with a hunger that was unstoppable.

From a very young age, my mother instilled in me a thirst for reading and whole new worlds opened up. The human story has always been my personal favorite. I taught Kindergarten for a few years and graduated with honors before deciding it was time to expand my learning.

I wanted a global education and set off on what would become an adventure that would span twenty-three countries in just under a decade. My human story expanded beyond borders, deep into myself as I traversed the globe. Asking questions, searching for the big ideas, and relishing in the variety.

I have been fortunate enough to be welcomed to serve communities on four continents using my wide range of skills. I  was taught about culture, different schooling methods, farming, agriculture, sailing, and what it feels like to wander 40 days in the Sahara desert. The world became a beautiful and inspiring place the more I opened up to it.

It was this incredibly warm welcoming that inspired me to continue supporting growth whether it be through human development, community building, consulting, teaching, story sharing, teaching, communication, or play.
